The ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 is a compact 13.3-inch laptop from Lenovo's L-series business range, with the kind of options IT departments ask for: Intel vPro on selected models, a discrete TPM 2.0 security chip, a self-healing BIOS and an optional smart card reader. It runs Intel Celeron or 11th Generation Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors and starts at 1.39 kg, so it is easy to carry between meetings.
More connectivity than its size suggests
For a 13-inch machine the L13 Gen 2 is well connected: a Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 40Gbps port, a second USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, full-size HDMI 2.0 and a microSD card reader. Both USB-C ports support charging and DisplayPort, and the laptop can run up to three external monitors alongside its own screen — handy at a hot desk with a dock.
