Condition Guide — What Our Grades Mean
Every device we sell is tested, graded and restored by our Auckland technicians. The condition grade describes cosmetic appearance only — every grade is 100% functional, fully tested and covered by our 12-month warranty.
Like New
Screen: No scratches, pristine.
Case/Body: Minimal to no signs of wear, invisible from a 12-inch distance. Like-new look & feel.
Excellent
Screen: Minor scratches that are barely noticeable, and only when the screen is off.
Case/Body: Minor signs of wear and light scratches, invisible from a 12-inch distance.
Very Good
Screen: Light scratches that are only visible when the screen is off. 100% functional.
Case/Body: Some signs of regular use, only visible from a 12-inch distance — they do not compromise the overall appearance.
Good
Screen: May have micro scratches that do not impact visibility when the device is on. 100% functional.
Case/Body: Some scratches visible upon close inspection.
Brand New
Accessories such as cases, screen protectors and cables are brand new, unused stock.
What about battery health?
Every phone listing shows its battery health. 100% means a new or nearly-new battery; 80% means the battery holds at least 80% of its original capacity — Apple's own threshold for a healthy battery. If a battery falls below spec during the warranty period due to a fault, it's covered.
