All iPhone 12 models — mini, 12, Pro and Pro Max — run Apple's A14 Bionic chip, so day-to-day speed is nearly identical across the range; size and camera hardware are what really separate them. If you want the smallest, lightest phone that still feels current, the 12 mini is worth a look; most buyers are well served by the standard 12. Step up to 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max only if you specifically want the extra telephoto lens and LiDAR scanner for photography, or the Pro Max's larger screen and battery.
Storage and battery
