How We Test and Grade Every Device at EcoLoop

"Certified refurbished" only means something if you know what the certification involves. Here's exactly what happens to every device before it appears in our store.

1. Functional testing

Screen and touch response, all cameras, speakers and microphones, every button, Wi-Fi, cellular, Bluetooth, sensors, Face ID / Touch ID, and charging — wired and wireless where fitted. Anything that fails is repaired or the device doesn't get listed.

2. Battery assessment

We read the battery's real health data. Phones are listed with their battery health (80% or 100%) so you can price that into your decision.

3. Data wipe

Every device is fully erased and checked for activation locks — you receive it clean, signed out and ready to set up as new.

4. Cosmetic grading

Under consistent lighting, each device is graded Good, Very Good, Excellent or Like New against the definitions in our Condition Guide. The grade is printed on every listing — no stock photos hiding reality.

5. Listing with full transparency

Model, storage, colour, grade and battery health all appear in the product title itself. What you click is what arrives.
